The week before christmas it started snowing a little. And then it started snowing a lot, and then all the sudden we woke up one morning, and we couldn't believe our eyes, there was so much and it was still snowing! By the end of the day we had 20 inches!!
Daddy and Lincoln suited up and went to shovel the walkway, then Matt realized he was going to have to shovel quite a bit of the parking lot if he was even going to think about driving to work.
after the work was done they went out back to play. We threw Lincoln in the snow and we almost lost him the snow was so deep. Lincoln's favorite thing to do in the snow is just walk around and eat it, so he wasn't very happy that he kept getting stuck.
Then daddy got a good idea and started to build. First it started as just a huge pile, then Matt made a slide, no sled required, which Lincoln thoroughly enjoyed. THen he dug out a little cave with two entrances, which I was sure Lincoln wouldn't go near, but after a moments hesitation he jumped right in! Matt tried to get in but he got stuck a few times so he gave up. They sure have fun though!
I miss throwing Raleigh out in the snow and letting him play already! Its like summer over here, crazy!
