Sorry, I think every blog I've posted in the last 2 weeks is totally out of order. Oh well!
On the 18th we had our ward christmas party. I love our ward christmas party because it's pretty much just dinner and Santa. Lincoln spent most of the party running around, until it was time for dessert. He'd take a bite and then go to get down, but then he would finish his bite and climb up for more. Here the primary kids are singing, and Lincoln thought he should get on the stage too.
This was Lincoln's first encounter with Santa of the season, we hadn't even been talking about him at all, but Lincoln ran right up to him when he walked in and was super excited to see him. After that Lincoln was very interested in the idea of Santa.
Matt's dad was in town to pick up Megan from school and he was nice enough to bring us an old fake tree they had. Of course Matt and I enjoy real trees better, we decided to go easy on our budget and just wait for a tree until we could snag this one. And we are super happy we did, it ended up being a 7 1/2 footer! Not too shabby!
The final product! Are you jealous of my star lights? Just kidding, it's not real, just a silly thing I can do with my camera :)
