after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

On Christmas Day in the Morning...

After our christmas eve festivies we tried to settle down for a decent night of sleep while St Nick fulfilled his christmas duties! Matt and Lincoln slept great, but pregnant Lindsey had a terrible night! I enjoyed the christmas feast WAY too much and was uncomfortable all night long. The baby was NOT happy with me!
We were the first to awaken and I made these guys wait until we at least heard someone stirring before we ventured out. I like this picture because it's as if they're asking each other, what are we waiting for??
Anxious and Excited for the christmas fun to start!
FINALLY the time came that we could head upstairs and see what awaited us!!
I helped Lincoln find his stocking and he started unpacking it right away. The whole day he was very excited about the candy he found in there, carrying it around and handing it to people for safekeeping. He never wanted to open it, but he needed to know where it was at all times.
Enjoying a little snack with daddy between presents. Lincoln was having a pretty rough morning, I got a little too excited that this was going to be the best christmas ever, he still wasn't that interested in opening presents, he just wanted to steal stuff from Kairi and on top of everything he was having a weird allergic reaction and just couldn't stop itching all over. One day there will be a holiday Lincoln can enjoy.
Too busy playing to pose with mama.
Lincoln got a lot of really great stuff and although he didn't show it very well christmas morning, he really loved everything he got, so we want to thank all of Matt's family and Nana for all of the awesome gifts he got, he really loves them all! (oh and not mention all of the amazing gifts Matt and I got too, thanks all!!)
After a benedryl induced nap Lincoln still had more presents to unwrap (he really made out like a bandit this year!!)
Enjoying a little dino-tent time. It's really the gift that keeps on giving... Merry Christmas!!
