after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

A Bouncing Baby...

BOY!
On friday we had our ultrasound. I cheated a little because my appointment was on Monday and I moved it up without telling anyone. I needed to get in earlier because I might have been going out of town and I really didn't think I could make it through the weekend! Right before the ultrasound Matt and I decided that we thought it was a girl, but we were wishing it was a boy. When we got in there the tech started checking things out and low and behold, it was a boy!! We were so happy (although I'm sure if it had been a girl we would have been ecstatic too). Most everyone asks me if I'm disappointed that it's not a girl, and of course I'm not! Matt and I have said from the beginning we want a house full of boys! The best part of it is I've been feeling pretty terrified of having another child, but just imagining what that sweet little Lincoln baby was like really calms my fears, and I can't wait to have another one of him!
