Fearless

We had a wonderful weekend! This week there was summerfest in orem and art city days in springville. We hit up on the parade saturday morning. It was so funny to see Lincoln realize they were throwing out candy as they went by! He was so excited sometimes he was too busy gasping and gawking he forgot to run for the candy and it would be quickly snatched up by other kids. But he didn't mind there was always more coming! (we didn't actually let him eat more than a couple, the fun was in the chase!)

And then there was a carnival in orem. We thought we'd check it out and it turned out Lincoln could even ride some of the rides! He's always been a brave and outgoing kid but i was so surprised to see him actually get on the rides, and he just bad a blast! He would smile and ask for more! We started out with this slow little boat ride, he loved to ring the bell.

Next stop he found some friends in a car, where they all did a little driving.

This was the biggest and fastest ride, it went around a circle and up and down. This little boy let Linc ride with him

He was so happy and comfortable with the whole thing, here he is sitting back enjoying a little cotton candy as he joy rides. Not even two and fully enjoying himself! This kid is so awesome!

There was a fireworks show at dusk. What a day Linc had, rarely does he get to stay up this late!

After being so brave at the carnival i didn't think twice about the fireworks. Turned out he was scared to death of them and hid in daddy's coat for the whole show. But even that was really cute :)
