"Is my bike ok?"

So this has been quite the week! On monday evening an officer pulled me out of class and told me that my husband had been in an accident. He was riding his bike to school on the sidewalk and as a lady was pulling out of a parking lot, they didn't see him and hit him. He flew off his bike, hit his head and had a seizure so he took a ride in an ambulance to the emergency room. I got there pretty soon afterward but he was in xray. I talked to the nurses and paramedics and i guess he had been keeping them pretty entertained because they were laughing. When they brought him back is he was laying on a stretcher and i had to hold a bag over his mouth to get his hyperventilating down, but he was doing fine other than that. Every two minutes he would ask me what time it was. The doctor told me he had a concussion and they were going to admit him for the night just to keep an eye on him since he had hit his head. For the next 7 hours he asked me the same 5 questions over and over nonstop. Most of the time he was being pretty funny, but sometimes he would get really upset. I couldn't get him to sleep until 2 am because he wanted to find out what happened first. In the morning he was the same but then he started getting better, and now he's starting to remember a lot better. We've been taking it easy since then and he's even putting a half a day in at work right now. So thanks for all your concern, it's been kinda scary but i certainly think we are blessed, it could have been a lot worse, and yes Matt realizes now he has to get a helmet!
He was so cute taking a nap yesterday i thought i snap a quick pic. I took some video of him being silly at the hospital so when he feels totally better about everything i'll post it.
