after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

So long Wally
I've decided to put my two weeks notice in at work today. I just can't handle working at walmart anymore. They've started scheduling me every other Sunday like they promised they wouldn't and i decided, it just doesn't make much sense that i would have to break the sabbath and work on Sundays to support myself in order to go to an LDS school. Besides this next semester is going to be trouble. I am currently signed up for 18 credits, and if that doesn't kill me alone, i don't think there will be much time for work. Thanks goodness for pell grants. Don't get me wrong, I'm not crazy i realize I've got to do something because that's not very fair for Matt, so I'll just have to find an on campus job that's around 10 hours a week. It'll be tight, in more ways than one but in the end i think it will pay off to just get school done. For some reason i keep thinking that life will get less stressful, but it never really does, does it? Oh well, i guess it's more exciting that way!

I am still proud of you. I hope its less stress. I still think a little more student loans to get you through school is worth it if you get good grades and a good job in the end.
ReplyDeleteI did shelve books for several semesters and even cleaned the bookstore at 4:30am for one semester (but I was only taking 2 classes) You will be blessed though!
