This weekend Matt's mom came to visit. For some reason their was no mother's weekend this year so we decided to have our own. She got here on thursday when Matt and I got off work and we've been having lots of fun since. Thursday night we just hung out, had dinner and watched a movie. The next day I had to work so Matt took his mom upto the school to look around at all the construction and into IF to go shopping. They picked me up after work and after a little bit we went to our ward Thanksgiving party, with lots of good turkey and mashed potatoes. But i didn't get any pumpkin pie, i think i'm going to have to make some before thanksgiving. 
Hmm i guess thats only in a couple of days. We weren't sure what to do next so we went upto the MC and went bowling. It was so much fun, most everyone is gone for thanksgiving break so we practically had the place to ourselves. Of course i lost terribly both times but at least i got a strike once. Luckily i had saturday off so we made a whole day of it. Matt, Cherie, Nicole and I all drove upto west yellowstone. It was kind of a flop because it was off season and everything was shut down. We went to the wolf and grizzly discovery center. It was pretty cool, but sad to see that all the animals were there because they were considered nuisances. After we spent the day we drove back to rexburg and went to Hard Hat for dinner, then we went home and played DDR for hours until midnight. Can i just say Matt is a MAD MAN when he plays DDR and he whoops all our trashes. I think he might be crazy. Today we slept in a little, went to church at 1 and had dinner as soon as we got back. I can't count how many times i've had roast for dinner on sunday, but man is it delish. Now we are making lemon squares. Me and Matt both have to work tomorrow so we won't see Cherie much tomorrow before she leaves, but it's been a fun weekend. It sure would be nice to have some family from my side visit, but that's not going to happen. It would just be nice to see my family at all. But it is nice to have Matt's sister here. Other than that we are all doing well and we hope you all have a happy thanksgiving!
