Pumpkin Carving!

This week we carved our pumpkins. We couldn't get to a pumpkin patch this time, but i guess thats more important when you have kids anyway. Our good old Walmart Pumpkins were perfect! Not too thick, hardly any guts and lots of seeds!
Our friends Ashley and Derek came and carved with us. We have a little apartment so we had to move the table into the living room. We are all still carving and you can see Matt's Pumpkin on the end totally finished. He was a little excited! As we carved we watched the Rockies game. It was awesome! (Ashley and Matt are from Denver)

Here are all the finished pumpkins from left to right: Matt-pirate ship, Derek-vampire about to attack, Lindsey- Snow White, Ashley- Cat on the fence. I don't think we'll be able to put candles in them since we live in apartments but we'll try. Happy Halloween!

  1. I am very impressed. In GA, its so humid, you can't carve pumpkins till within 6 days before Halloween or they rot and get moldy. We still haven't gotten any yet, but I am thinking it will be a trip to walmart.
