after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

Spanish Fork Parade

I love how Utah celebrates pioneer day, and how big of a deal it really is! We went to the parade to celebrate which we heard was great!
It was fun to watch a small town parade that featured things we could relate to and lots of people we knew. There were also a lot of horses and silly segway clowns.
It started off with a bang! I think these guys were representing the Mormon battalion? They were super loud and of course, Lincoln was terrified.

I think there was a no candy rule, or some kind of no handing things out rule this year, but we had been telling Lincoln otherwise, so he might have been a little disappointed..
