{about us}

after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

Bear Lake Hodge Podge

At the end of July we were able to head to Bear Lake for a reunion with Matt's family! This requires a couple posts, so here are all the misc pictures around the cabin!
We stopped in Sugar house to visit our two favorite Wendy's. (Person and Restaurant that is) I thought Linc looked so cute with a burger in one hand and his drink in the other. so grown up!
When the kiddos got to the cabin the first thing they discovered was this AWESOME airplane toy! The cabin was sooooo much better than we expected and we all just couldn't get over how great it was!
Family! the first night. (how can i get Matt to quit pulling this "scary eyes" face??)
Ace quickly fell in love (or at least asleep) with his Aunt Mandy.
The kiddos got along great at the cabin! (which yes, is unusual) it made the vacay so stress free!
And everyone loved Uncle Matt for obvious reasons
I love this picture, what a sweet little baby :)
A reunion is always a great time to catch up on birthdays, and Lincoln hit the mother load as far as motorized vehicle toys are concerned. (thank you everyone)
Grandpa and his magic touch (although Ace was not as easily convinced as Lincoln was at this age)
More toys
The view of the Lake from the cabin was awesome! I feel deeply in love with Bear Lake and forsee a close relationship with it as the years go on.
And oh the baby is just soo dang cute!!
View from the outside. We miss you and for sure will be seeing you again in the future.
