after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

Mother's Day

I had the BEST mother's day yet! On saturday Lincoln and Daddy went out to play (to give me a rest) and came home with these beautiful flowers! Lincoln picked them out all by himself. Sunday morning I woke up to breakfast in bed (and was able to go back to sleep). Had a nice break while the boys were at church, Matt cooked a delicious steak dinner and surprised me with a coldstone cake! (on saturday when they walked in the door the first thing Linc said to me was, "Mom, come look at your ice cream cake!!" so it wasn't much of a surprise any more :)

Most of all I am so glad that Atticus made it in time to spend the day with us. It was the day so much better to have both my boys to celebrate with! I think I was the happiest Mom in the world this mother's day :)

    Mmmm!! I didn't get a coldstone cake! I need a do-over! lol
