after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

Baby's First Christmas

On Christmas Eve Matt's family has a little program where everyone is supposed to participate, and then we all sing christmas hymns. I really like this tradition and will probably continue it when we start having christmas on our own.

Here is Matt's sister Megan singing and Nicole playing the piano. Even though she was sick Megan sang beautifullly!
Linc and GG are enjoying the christmas program very much here! "I think we'll keep him..."

Linc and Daddy ready to go up and open presents! I had told everyone the previous night, we are not getting up until Lincoln does (because he usually sleeps in) but he ended up waking up bright and early. He must have known it was christmas and was ready for his presents!

He sees em and is ready to go!!

Lincoln is helping daddy open his stocking. Hmm what goodies are in there (Wendy see how awesome these stocking are??)

Linc opening his first official christmas present!! He is so excited!

The truth is he really wasn't into it. We tried to get him to open them but he wasn't much interested. It was probably pretty confusing, every time he got the wrapping off we'd take it away. Now why would we think he'd be more interested in his gifts than wrapping paper...?

It wasn't long before he was done. During the whole unwrapping he ended up taking two naps.

Linc got some really great things including, books, clothes, toys etc and we want to thank all of Matt's family VERY much! But we have to say thanks to Chadd and Mandy for George, it has definatly been his favorite!
