after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

Happy Birthday SM

My nephews birthday is one day before Lincoln's and he had a fun birthday party. I got to make his cake which ended up being a 2-3 day process.

I was the most worried about the face, but it ended up being the best part.

He was happy so I was happy!
My sister rented this sweet water slide, how cool is that? Lincoln was a wimp and went down a whole two times. He has been a wimp a lot lately.
Ace had fun :)
Lincoln was a bit confused. I kept telling him how his party was coming up, but then we went to his cousin's party. He very much wanted to help open presents, but he had no meltdowns about it, and that means success folks.
I wanted to tell you that this was all that was left of the cake (it was delicious) but even this last bite got gobbled up 5 minutes after I took the picture.
And to top it all off we found a caterpillar.
