Our ward had a father/son camping trip and Matt was so excited to take Linc! At first I was glad for the break, but before bedtime I was already missing those silly boys.
To my big surprise, Lincoln LOVED it. He had the best time and still talks about it! I am jealous I didn't get to see him in action.
Matt says he spent most the time chasing around this young women (ok it was really a father/kid camping trip) and he kept crouching down in the grass like this trying to catch her.
And in the morning him and Brooklyn were best buddies. She helped warn Lincoln to stay away from the water.
Matt says he had a wonderful time, except the whole sleeping part, which is all the camping really is, lol. Lincoln wouldn't sleep and Matt was so frustrated all night, but when it was finally a decent time they could wake up Lincoln sat up with the biggest grin on his face, and Matt said there was no way he could still be mad at him!
