Pumpkin Patchin'

Saturday morning i told Lincoln that when daddy got off work we were going to go to the pumpkin patch. He was VERY excited. When it was getting closer to the time to go and on the way there he kept saying "let's go pumpkin patchin'!!" It was soo funny! We went to a farm in pleasant grove. It was a little expensive to get in, but we figured since Lincoln was free it was worth it. And even though it was a little pricey, it turned out to be soooooo worth it. There was soooo much to do there, and we weren't even able to do it all.

This was just one of their giant pumpkins, I guess next weekend they plan on dropping it onto a car or something. Sounds like a good idea to me.

They had a little petting zoo, which was by far the COOLEST. All of the animals were so friendly and would let you pick them up and everything. And Lincoln was brave enough to do it too!

Seriously, he is holding a little chicken, how cute is that???

Have you ever heard of a duck letting you hold it?? Unheard of!

There was a corn feed pit which Lincoln would have been content to stay in all day.

And of course a corn maze, which it turns out, i do not enjoy in the least. Lincoln was sure the purpose of it was to find the lost corn. So we had to stop and pick up every piece we found, and the maze was full of them.

Classic animal train. Lincoln picked the sheep and baa'd appropriately until the ride started.

Some sweet slides which were also a hit. Lincoln went down by himself a couple times.

Hayride out to the pumpkin patch. We got a sweet green pumpkin that we are excited to carve.

There was a bunch more, we watched a pig chase, that Lincoln wouldn't do because the pig was squealing so badly, pedal carts which were too big for Linc, pony rides that they told us the wrong time for, and some other stuff. We are probably going to have to visit again next year, even if we have to fork out the cash for Linc!
