after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

Our Misadventure

With nothing to do all day and Matt gone at work Linc and I decided to go on a walk. The sun was shining so bright and there was no wind - we couldn't miss such an opportunity even if there was still lots of snow. Poor baby Linc is stuck inside so much since it's so cold here, he just needed to get out. As much as I'd like to think they do, a trip to the store just really doesn't count as a break from the house. So we bundled up as much as we could and set out for the park. Not quite sure why I thought the walk would be clear, but Linc enjoyed the bumpy ride all the way to the park. We made it about halfway around the loop and turned back.
The whole reason I wanted to go was so Linc could do some swinging. Needless to say, we did not swing..
In the end i have to admit this was a terrible idea, please don't follow my stupidity, i probably looked like an idiot pulling the stroller from the front when it got stuck, but at least little Lincoln got some fresh air!!
