{about us}

after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

one week old

Things have been going great with our little Lincoln. I don't know how we lucked out, he is such a good baby! The most trouble we have with him is making sure he wakes up to eat. We have been home from the hospital since wednesday, his actual due date. Matt picked my mom up before we came home and ever since we've just been chillin out at home adjusting. We've just been trying to figure out how to take care of this little guy and Nana has been helping a lot, especially at 3:00 in the morning when Lincoln thinks it's time to be up and fuss. But other than that his favorite thing to do is sleep sleep and sleep some more. And my favorite thing to do is sneak in kisses as much as I can. Matt is having a great time being a dad, babies are such a new experience for him and sometimes he gets a little overwhelmed but you can usually catch him leaving work early to spend as much time with the little man as he can!
