When Grandmother Comes To Town

I had about a 3 day break after my mom left until Matt's mom arrived to help out. It was a nice little break, but I was sure ready for help again! It was wonderful having her, usually I try really hard to be the host but this time i really accepted help and it was so nice to have help with dishes and laundry and meals the baby and most of all that Lincoln boy!

Lincoln was so excited when she got here and i think grandma was happy to have a Lincoln boy all to herself for a few days.

one of the most common phrases we tell Linc: "DON'T SQUEEZE HIS HEAD!!"

hehe what a bad picture, but i love it, look how we are all smiling. I feel like it's a good summary of our family in general.

It was finally nice so we went to the park to play. Daddy and Linc conquered this mountain.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Cook were able to spend an evening and a day with us, and we just love having them

and grandpa got here just two days after grandma. We were so excited to get to spend a very very long weekend with them! But no one was more excited than Lincoln.

Grandpa was pretty excited to give Lincoln this light stick (sword) and Lincoln was just as excited to play with it. Of course he stepped on it and broke it within the first 24 hours, but of course Matt was able to recover it.

Gosh we just had all forms of grandparents here memorial weekend!!! The newest member to join us was always Lincoln's favorite. When it was time to go Lincoln insisted that GG was staying.
