Don't worry, it's not my baby. I've still got a ways to go, but my sister Wendy had hers! Little Maeve Katherine came into the world March 19th at about 10:00pm. She was 7lbs 12oz and has lots of cute (is it dark blonde?) hair! My sis called me on saturday and was having contractions and thought maybe we should head over and sure enough when we got there she went in to the hospital and was admitted and had pretty much the shortest labor I've ever heard of (jerk.)
When we visited she was still in the sleep all the time, never cry newborn stage, hopefully that lasts a long time (or at least until Nana comes)
I didn't really feel like she was this tiny little newborn, probably because I'm pregnant and I understand how 'big' those babies really are!
I was telling Matt how I got a really good picture of him and the baby because he has a really natural smile which is difficult to capture, except when he's holding a baby. He told me it's because when he's holding a baby he can't help but feel happy. Who knew Matt was gonna be such a sucker for the little ones? (and he really is) :)
I told you that you look so good in that picture, you don't even look pregnant!
