{about us}
after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

Lincolnism
Believe it or not Lincoln is a frequent visitor to time-out. He's actually been compliant in this punishment since he turned 1. At this point he has to serve his two minute sentence after which mommy or daddy have a little chat with him, discussing the problem, what exactly makes it a problem, and how to correct the behavior (sounds like it should be effective, doesn't it?) Anyways the conversation usually ends with a "do you understand??" statement. Lincoln has picked up on this, so now as he sits for those two grueling, never-ending minutes, he has starting shouting, "I understand, I UNDERSTAND!!" To which we have to hide our faces so he doesn't see our laughter. Maybe you have to be there to witness it, but it is pretty hilarious..
