after having a baby and finishing school my hubby and i finally feel like life is starting! we struggle with just about everything but we are happily figuring things out as we go. the purpose of this blog is threefold, first to update our family and friends about what we're up to, second to show off and share my discoveries and accomplishments as a homemaker and most importantly to brag about that Lincoln boy! in turn there are two requirements for you to partake of this blog, leave comments so i know my effort has a purpose and of course, ENJOY!

Crafting

I finally gave out these presents so now i can post about them! Applique is somewhat difficult i've discovered but i've been practicing and look how cute these initial onsies turned out! If you click to make the picture bigger you can see the sewing detail better! And seriously, is there anything cuter than baby booties?

    Okay so I am not going to lie, I thought that the booties were attached to the oneies (like appliqued SP) on too...and I thought it was a little much :) THEN I clicked and made it bigger and I LOVE THEM...you did such a great job. Kenzie's intials are KMC (hahaha jk)

    Oh my gosh, love them!! Way to go Lindsey! I appliqued some Christmas presents too, it almost gave me a panic attack staring at the fabric for so long lol. Where did you find the bootie pattern?
