August 26th was Matt and I's 3 year anniversary. I woke up that morning and made breakfast, Matt told me he was taking Linc outside to play, and after about 10 minutes i hear a knock at the door and this is what greeted me!
Matt had a bouquet of roses and Linc had this cute summer bouquet. I was so happy and surprised i wasn't even upset at Matt for taking Lincoln to the store in this half pj/non matching outfit!
It was my year to plan our anniversary so i recreated our first date, we went bowling/out to eat/got ice cream/and i rented the movie we saw (wow, i can't believe we did all that! remember those days when you actually had money to blow on dates??)
The funnest part actually ended up playing in the arcade section at the Rex. It was cheap and fun, Linc tagged along the whole day and he had lots of fun too! This video will be boring to you, but as his mom i love it. You can't tell but he is holding on for dear life.
I think that is a great idea to trade off planning the anniversary. Most people just expect the men to have this elaborate plan. What a fun date and Lincoln is so funny in that car I love it.
