up close and purse-onal!

Today was a relief society birthday enrichment. It was really fun, Shelley gave a really great lesson about the compartments of our lives like a purse, and inspired me to clean all the junk out! There was a really great lunch and a fun purse scavenger hunt and we even made little purses. Anybody who knows me might think, Lindsey, don't you hate purses? Well yes, i do but it was fun so be quiet. I actually don't hate them since i've been making my own! Which brings me to this post! I made my own purse and it got a little bit of attention at the activity so i wanted to show off my 'skills'! This is my purse! It's actually mostly a diaper bag. As you can see i also made a little diaper/wipes tote to match with my extra fabric!
For Christmas i made my mom and sister in laws purses too. It was a lot of work but it sure paid off! They really liked them (i think anyways!) It was a little difficult to give them away because i was so proud of them! But making stuff for other people is lots of fun! I am really missing forsyth fabrics in atlanta! They were fantastic. But i need to give credit where it is owed, i made all these projects from toturials,

Poor Lincoln had to sacrifice a nap so i could go since dad was at work. He was pretty mad in the end so we had to leave in a hurry. oh well, we got a 2 hr 45 min nap in the end! here he is playing with my shopping list. His head always ends up under the couch! He is such a silly baby nowadays!!
